Lollipop Sugar Cookies Recipe

  1. Cream Butter Flavor Crisco, sugar, lowfat milk and vanilla in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer till well blended.
  2. Beat in egg.
  3. Combine flour, baking pwdr and salt.
  4. Mix into creamed mix.
  5. Cover and chill for several hrs or possibly overnight.
  6. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  7. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  8. Push ice cream into center of dough.
  9. Place dough, with stick parallel, 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  10. Flatten to 1/2 inch with large, smooth, greased and floured spatula.
  11. Decorate as desired.
  12. Press decoration into dough.
  13. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
  14. Cold on baking sheet 2 min.
  15. Remove to cooling rack.
  16. 1 1/2 to 2 dozen 3 inch cookies.
