Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies And Frosting Recipe

  1. Sift flour; measure; sift again with salt, soda, and cocoa.
  2. Cream together shortening and sugar.
  3. Add in vanilla, egg and lowfat milk.
  4. Beat well.
  5. Add in dry ingredients; mix well.
  6. Drop by tsp.
  7. on greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake in moderate oven for 8 min.
  9. Remove from oven.
  10. Immediately press a half marshmallow, cut side down, on top of each cookie.
  11. Bake 2 min longer.
  12. Cold and frost with: 5 tbsp.
  13. cocoa 4-5 tbsp.
  14. light cream 1/8 teaspoon salt 3 tbsp.
  15. butter
  16. Mix to spread and frost tops of each marshmallow.
  17. Top with pecan half.
