Za'atar Recipe

  1. Combine dried crushed zaatar leaves (or crushed thyme, summer savory, oregano, marjoram, or a mixture), toasted sesame seeds, and ground sumac.
  2. Grind to a chunky paste and season with salt to taste.
  3. Store at room temperature.
  4. Zaatars flavor will begin to fade after 2 months.
