Dad's Hash Brown Quiche Recipe
- 1 pkg. frzn hash brown patties (Oreida), thawed
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1 c. Gouda cheese, shredded
- 1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 c. diced ham
- 1/2 c. cream
- 2 Large eggs
- Grease quiche pan.
- Remove excess water from patties by wrapping them in paper towels and then placing them on a bath towel.
- Roll the towel up tight (the more water you remove from the patties the crispier they will be).
- Place hash browns in quiche pan and press them down into pan.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 25 min or possibly till golden brown.
- Remove crust (reduce heat to 350 degrees) and sprinkle ham and cheese on top.
- Beat Large eggs with cream and pour over top.
- Bake for 30 to 40 min.
