Bread Boat & Dip Recipe
- 1 can water chestnuts, minced
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 pkg. Knorr Vegetable Soup
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 c. Miracle Whip
- 1 pkg. frzn minced spinach
- Water chestnuts and Knorr Vegetable Soup found in Oriental Section of store.
- Cook spinach according to directions; drain and soak remaining water out with paper towel.
- Mix chestnuts, onion, soup, lowfat sour cream, Miracle Whip and spinach.
- Cut bread lengthways so there is a top and bottom.
- Cut the top into cubes.
- Take insides of the bottom out with a knife or possibly your fingers.
- Cut, or possibly break the insides into cubes.
- Fill the "boat" with mix.
- Spread on cubes.
- Delicious.
