Marinated & Grilled Tempeh
- 12 oz. , cut into 1-inch slices
- 4 leeks, trimmed and split in half lengthwise
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced in half lengthwise Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 1/3 cup KRAFT Lite House Italian Dressing
- 2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
- 32 oz. nonfat yogurt, favorite flavor
- 32 fl oz (4 cups) drinking water
- Heat grill or broiler.
- Using a basting brush, coat all sides of tempeh, leeks and carrots with salad dressing; cover and set aside.
- Place tempeh and vegetables on grill across the grates lengthwise, or on broiler pan.
- Grill each side about 5 min., basting with remaining marinade.
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Divide entree and rice evenly among 4 plates.
- Complement each meal with 1 cup of yogurt.
- Serve each person an 8 fl oz glass of water with meal.
