Holiday Russian Teacakes Recipe
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- Dash salt
- 3/4 c. finely minced walnuts
- Green & red sugar sprinkles
- Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and salt; blend well.
- Fold in the nuts.
- Refrigeratedough.
- Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10- 12 min, or possibly till set but not brown.
- While hot roll in a mix of powdered sugar and colored sprinkles.
- Cold on rack and roll in sugar mix again.
