American-Style Cake Pops
- 300 grams Store-bought chocolate or plain cake (you can also make yourself)
- 200 grams Cream cheese
- 1 Powdered sugar
- 4 bars Chocolate bar
- Put the cream cheese in a bowl and use a hand mixer to mix into a soft creamy state.
- Add the powdered sugar.
- Be sure to take into account the sweetness of the cake that you'll add in the next step.
- Crumble the cake.
- Use a food processor or mixer to make the cake crumbly.
- Add the crumbled cake to the cream cheese mixture and use a rubber spatula to mix well.
- Once you have a unified shape make into bite-sized balls and line up on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate.
- Once cooled, melt the chocolate by immersing in hot water.
- Skewer the cake balls through the middle and dip in the chocolate to coat.
- Use styrofoam to hold the cake pops while the chocolate coating cools.
- Add the toppings while the chocolate is still soft.
- Once the chocolate has completely hardened they're finished.
