Hot Bacon Cheese Dip

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice the top quarter off the loaf of bread and set aside.
  3. Carefully hollow out the inside, leaving a 1-inch shell.
  4. Cube removed bread and set aside for dipping.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and spoon into the bread bowl.
  6. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and cover with the reserved top quarter of the loaf to prevent the dip from becoming too brown while baking.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until heated through.
  8. Serve with bread cubes and crackers.
