Sausage and Root Veg Stovie, for 2
- 4 sausages, any flavour
- 1 onion
- 2 potatoes, any type
- 1 carrot
- 2 turnips
- 1 packages green beans
- 100 ml stock, any type
- Chop the sausage into chunks, and fry in a large saute pan over a medium heat until browned.
- While the sausages are browning, chop the onion.
- When the sausages are browned, add the chopped onion.
- While the onion is softening, cut the other root veg into chunks, and add to the pan with the stock.
- Cover and leave for 30 mins.
- 15 mins before the root veggies will be ready, reason them with plenty of black pepper, and put the green beans on to steam.
