Refreshing Cabbage and Shiso with Mayonnaise and Miso

  1. Microwave the cabbage for 1-2 minutes to soften.
  2. Finely julienne the cabbage and shiso.
  3. Mix the mayonnaise, miso and sugar together.
  4. Squeeze out the moisture from the cabbage, and combine it with the seasonings, along with the shiso.
  5. Mix well to finish.
  6. Top with sesame seeds if you'd like.
