Holiday Potato Dish Recipe

  1. Remove skins from potatoes and shred in bowl.
  2. Use grater on large side.
  3. Saute/fry onion in 1/4 c. melted butter till tender.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in soup and lowfat sour cream.
  6. Pour over potatoes and cheese; mix well.
  7. Turn into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
  8. Cover.
  9. Chill overnight.
  10. Sprinkle with crushed cornflakes.
  11. Drizzle with melted butter.
  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  13. Makes 12 servings.
