Braised Kale with Toasted Almonds

  1. In a large saute pan over low heat, toast almonds for 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned.
  2. Add butter and allow to brown.
  3. Add garlic and onions.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes until slightly caramelized.
  5. Add kale and toss lightly.
  6. Add broth, bouillon and pepper.
  7. Cook kale for 5 to 6 minutes until tender and liquid has evaporated.
