Vanilla Cream
- 1/2 vanilla bean, halved lengthwise, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chilled heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Scrape seeds from vanilla bean with tip of a knife into a bowl.
- Add cream and sugar and beat with an electric mixer until cream just holds soft peaks.
