Salty Motsu Hot Pot

  1. Fill a pot with water and heat.
  2. Add the bonito soup stock and the chicken soup stock, then just dump in the sugar and sake.
  3. Then add the cheap store-bought gyoza.
  4. Increase to slightly high heat and boil, using a ladle to crush the gyoza.
  5. This will become the soup stock of this hot pot!
  6. !
  7. Add plenty of black pepper, tempura crumbs, and white sesame seeds.
  8. Casually rinse the giblets and add to the pot.
  9. Cover with a lid and boil, being mindful to not let it boil over.
  10. Cut the cabbage into squares and cut the chives up roughly and add to the pot together with the tofu.
  11. Bring to a boil and it's complete.
  12. Highly recommended!!
  13. Sapporo Ichiban Sesame Ramen Noodles!
  14. I highly recommend adding these for finishing up!
  15. Also good with shiitake mushrooms and fried tofu.
