Orange-Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake
- 1-1/2 cups graham crumbs
- 1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 pkg. (250 g each) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 5 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. orange-flavoured liqueur
- 1/2 tsp. orange zest Safeway 1 lb For $0.79 thru 02/09
- 3 oz. Baker's Bittersweet Chocolate, melted, slightly cooled
- Heat oven to 325F.
- Mix graham crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter; press onto bottom and 1-1/2 inches up side of 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake 10 min.
- Beat cream cheese and remaining sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended.
- Add liqueur and zest; mix well.
- Remove 2 cups batter; place in medium bowl.
- Add melted chocolate; mix well.
- Pour remaining batter over crust.
- Drop spoonfuls of chocolate batter over plain batter.
- Cut through batters with knife several times for marble effect.
- Bake 55 min.
- to 1 hour or until centre is almost set.
- Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim.
- Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hours.
