Chicken Rice With Water Chestnuts Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onion and green pepper.
  2. Add in pimento, rice, soups, chestnuts and almonds.
  3. Pour into casserole.
  4. Place seasoned chicken skin-side down on top of mix.
  5. Bake at 275 degrees for 2 hrs and 30 min.
  6. After first hour, turn chicken over.
  7. Cover for last 40 min.
  8. (This freezes well so make 2 and freeze 1 for another meal.)
