Holiday Breakfast Ham & Cheese Souffle Recipe
- 16 slices white sandwich bread (remove crusts & cut into cubes)
- 1 pound cubed ham
- 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, cut in sm. pcs
- 6 Large eggs
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3 c. crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- Grease 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish.
- Spread half the bread cubes proportionately in dish.
- Add in ham and both cheeses, then cover with remaining bread cubes.
- Mix Large eggs, lowfat milk, onion and mustard.
- Pour proportionately over bread cubes and then bake or possibly may be refrigerated overnight.
- Combine cornflakes and butter for a topping.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.
