Crescent Chicken Casserole

  1. Saute onion and mushrooms.
  2. Add chicken, soup, sour cream, and mayonnaise and heat until bubbly.
  3. Place in 9" x 13" ungreased casserole dish.
  4. Spread crescent rolls (not separated) across top to make a crust.
  5. Drizzle with melted butter and add cheese.
  6. May also top with sliced almonds, if desired.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
