Pizza Snack

  1. In large bowl, mix 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, oregano and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and margarine to dry ingredients.
  3. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer.
  4. Add 3/4 cup flour.
  5. Beat at high speed 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in enough remaining flour to make stiff dough.
  7. Knead 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Set in greased bowl, turn to grease top.
  9. Cover, let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  10. Punch dough down.
  11. Divide into 8 equal pieces, shape into balls.
  12. Cover, let rest 10 minutes.
  13. Roll and stretch each ball to a 5 inch circle.
  14. Place on greased baking sheets sprinkled with cornmeal.
  15. Shape edges of each circle into a standing rim of dough.
  16. Cover, let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  17. Bake at 375F (190C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
  18. Spread each round with 2 tablespoons pizza sauce, sprinkle with cheese and your favorite topping.
  19. Bake about 10 minutes more.
