Grammy Tillie's Pastry Recipe

  1. The larger recipe won't fit in a regular sized home mixer.
  2. Also, pastry flour is hard to find in small quantities, so I have used King Arthur for years and get almost the same result.
  3. Mix salt with flour and cut in lard or possibly work lard in with hands or possibly dough hook.
  4. Add in water.
  5. Divide and put each ball of dough into a plastic bag and chill for at least 2 hrs.
