Crock Pot (Slow Cooker) Baked Beans

  1. Cook ground pork sausage on medium heat until done in a deep sauce pan.
  2. Once fully cooked add raw bacon pieces and onion into pork.
  3. Saute together over medium heat until bacon is cooked and onion is soft (about 15-20 minutes).
  4. Add to crock pot.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot and mix well.
  6. Simmer on high for 2 hours and then low for 2 hours or you can cook on low 6 hours.
  7. Corn starch may need to be added for thickening.
  8. Just take a few tablespoons of corn starch and mix with a little cold water (1/4 cup or so) until smooth.
  9. Gradually stir into bean mixture until blended.
