Grandma Sadie's Lemon Pie Recipe

  1. Add in 1/2 of water to corn starch and sugar.
  2. Stir.
  3. Add in slightly beaten egg yolks and all of the water.
  4. Cook in a fry pan on medium high heat.
  5. When thick, add in rind and lemon juice.
  6. Cook about 3 more min to make sure the corn starch is done.
  7. Pour into baked shell.
  8. Add in salt to egg whites.
  9. Slowly adding sugar, beat to meringue consistency.
  10. Pour meringue on top of pie and bake at 325 degrees till brown.
