Homemade Sherbet Recipe
- 1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 3 c. fresh fruit such as peaches, blueberries, or possibly strawberries
- 2 c. frzn (light) whipped topping
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1.
- Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 c. cool lowfat milk.
- Let stand for 4 min.

- Heat remaining 3/4 c. of lowfat milk just to boiling point.
- Add in the warm lowfat milk to the cool lowfat milk and gelatin mix.
- Stir for about 2 min.

- Gradually add in the sliced fruit, sugar and vanilla.
- Fold in a blender till mix is smooth.
- 4.
- Pour into a bowl and chill.
- Stir several times during chilling till mix becomes slightly thick when dropped from a spoon.
- 5.
- Fold gelatin mix into whipped topping.
- 6.
- Pour into an 8 inch baking dish or possibly small paper c..
- Freeze till hard.
