Chicken and Garlic White Pizza
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, Finely Minced
- 1/2 cups 1% Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 1 pound Store Bought Or Homemade Pizza Dough
- Corn Meal, For Dusting
- 1 cup Shredded, Cooked Chicken
- 5 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
- 3 whole Basil Leaves
- Preheat oven to 450 F. If you have one, place a pizza stone in the oven to heat.
- In a small saucepan, simmer butter and garlic over medium-low heat until melted and aromatic.
- Stir in milk to combine.
- Turn heat to medium, bring just to a boil and whisk in flour until combined.
- Remove from heat and allow to thicken.
- Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness.
- Sprinkle cornmeal on your pizza peel.
- Carefully, transfer dough onto pizza peel.
- Spread garlic butter sauce onto dough.
- Top with chicken and cheese.
- Slide pizza off of the pizza peel into the hot stone in the oven.
- (Or you can do this all on a pizza pan if you arent using a stone).
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven.
- Tear basil leaves and place on top of pizza.
- Serve.
