Skillet Barbecue Pork Chops with Stuffing
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- 1 small green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 2 Tbsp. oil, divided
- 6 bone-in pork chops (2 lb.), 1/2 inch thick Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Pork
- 3/4 cup KRAFT Thick & Spicy or BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce
- Cook vegetables and thyme in 1 Tbsp.
- hot oil in medium skillet until vegetables are crisp-tender; remove from skillet.
- Add remaining oil and chops to skillet; cook on medium-high heat 4 to 5 min.
- on each side or until done (145F).
- Meanwhile, prepare stuffing as directed on package.
- Spoon onion mixture over chops.
- Top with barbecue sauce; cover.
- Reduce heat to low; cook until sauce is heated through.
- Serve with stuffing.
