Simple Salt-broth Ramen
- 1 bundle Chinese-style noodles
- 400 ml Boiling water
- 1 tsp Chicken soup stock
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Lard
- 1 tsp Green onion oil (store-bought)
- 1 Boiled pork
- 1 Chopped Japanese leek
- 1 Bamboo shoots
- 1 Boiled egg or seasoned egg
- 1 Chunky ra-yu
- Make and slice the char siu.
- Refer to
- Boil the egg and cut in half.
- Put the salt, chicken soup stock granules, lard, and green onion oil in a warmed bowl.
- Boil the ramen noodles.
- Boil the water for the soup.
- Add the boiling water to the bowl just before the noodles are done/
- Drain the noodles and add to the bowl.
- Top with char siu, egg, bamboo shoots, and green onion.
- Top with ra-yu to taste.
