Chocolate & Caramel Steamed Bread

  1. Line the pan with plastic wrap.
  2. Cut each truffle and each piece of caramel into 4 pieces.
  3. Start heating the steamer.
  4. Put the ingredients in a bowl and mix.
  5. In a separate bowl, make the meringue ( ingredients).
  6. Add the meringue in 2 batches to the first bowl and mix with a rubber spatula, taking care not to break the air bubbles.
  7. Pour 1/2 of the batter into the pan.
  8. Sprinkle half of the caramel pieces on top.
  9. Pour in the rest of the batter and sprinkle with pieces of chocolate truffle.
  10. Steam on medium heat for 27 minutes.
  11. Stick it with a skewer and if it comes out clean, it's done.
