Chicken Dressing Bake Recipe
- 1 pkg. Stove Top dressing (cornbread)
- 2 c. chicken broth (saved from cooking chicken)
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk, divided use
- 1 sm. jar pimento
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 2 1/2 c. chicken
- Cook chicken (about 2 1/2 pounds).
- Take off bone and cut up in medium size pcs.
- Use broth to mix the cornbread dressing and add in 1/4 c. lowfat milk.
- Mix and spread in casserole (11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inches).
- Spread chicken over dressing.
- Mix 1/4 c. lowfat milk with soup and pimento; spread over top of casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Remove foil and bake 10 min more.
- Serves 8.
