Maple Glazed Carrots
- 1 lb fresh whole carrot
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup pure maple syrup
- 12 teaspoon coarse salt
- In a medium-sized saucepan bring approximately 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add carrots and cook until tender, approximately 7-10 minutes (depending on the size).
- Drain water; add butter, maple syrup and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer 5-6 minutes, until caramelized (carrots coated in caramel).
