Tofu with Honey and Cinnamon

  1. Remove tofu from package and rinse under cold water.
  2. Pat it dry with a paper towel to absorb any extra moisture or liquid.
  3. Cut into 1-inch cubes (mine yielded 40) and place into a bowl.
  4. Combine honey, oil and vegetable broth in a medium bowl and stir until combined.
  5. Pour the honey mixture over the tofu until it covers most of the pieces.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top and let the tofu sit in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat and coat it with a drizzle of oil.
  8. Place tofu onto pan and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  9. Flip each piece to cook the other side and grill until golden and crispy.
  10. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
