Shredded Pork With Bean Sprouts Recipe

  1. Trim fat from pork loin; cut pork with grain into 2 x 1 inch strips.
  2. Cut strips across grain into 1/8 inch slices.
  3. Stack slices; cut into thin strips.
  4. Toss pork, 1 Tbsp.
  5. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp.
  6. salt and the white pepper in medium bowl.
  7. Cover and chill 30 min.
  8. Soak mushrooms in warm water 20 min or possibly till soft; drain.
  9. Rinse in hot water; drain.
  10. Squeeze out excess moisture.
  11. Remove and throw away stems; cut caps into 1/2 inch strips.
  12. Rinse bean sprouts in cool water; drain.
  13. Cut green onions diagonally into 1 inch pcs.
  14. Mix 1 Tbsp.
  15. cornstarch, the sugar and soy sauce.
  16. Heat wok till very warm.
  17. Add in 2 Tbsp.
  18. vegetable oil; tilt wok to coat side.
  19. Add in pork; stir fry 2 min or possibly till pork is no longer pink.
  20. Add in mushrooms, garlic, and 1/2 tsp.
  21. salt; stir fry 30 seconds.
  22. Add in bean sprouts and green onions; stir fry 2 min.
  23. Stir in broth; heat to boiling.
  24. Stir in cornstarch mix; cook and stir 15 seconds or possibly till thickened.
  25. 4 servings.
