Yemenite Haroset Truffles
- 13 cup pitted dates
- 13 cup dried fig
- 13 cup raisins
- 13 cup dried apricot
- 2 12 tablespoons honey
- 1 12 teaspoons cinnamon, ground
- 12 teaspoon ground ginger
- 18 teaspoon clove, ground
- 18 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 34 cup pecans, toasted coarsely ground
- 34 cup almonds, toasted slivered
- 1 12 tablespoons orange liqueur
- 12 cup almonds, toasted slivered, ground
- Combine dried fruit, honey, and spices in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Add the pecans, slivered almonds, and orange liqueur and process until just combined.
- Form the mixture into balls about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter and roll the balls in the ground almonds.
