Smoked Salmon Spread
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can pink salmon, drained and flaked
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon red onion, grated
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 14 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 14 cup almonds, finely chopped (from a package of sliced almonds)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 14 cup pretzel, thins (crushed)
- Remove skin and bones from salmon.
- Combine all ingredients (except nuts, parsley and pretzels) in a bowl.
- Mix well with a fork.
- Form into a half round ball.
- Wrap with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours.
- Mix nuts, parsley and crushed pretzels together, then put on top of chilled ball, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Serve with Ritz crackers & enjoy!
