Apple Cranberry Squares
- 34 cup applesauce
- 34 cup packed brown sugar
- 14 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 14 cups flour
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup dried sweetened cranberries (or raisins)
- 12 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
- 12 cup white chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8x2-inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix apple sauce, brown sugar, oil and egg with a spoon.
- Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
- Mix in cranberries and pecans.
- Spread batter in prepared pan.
- Bake 27-32 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool.
- Glaze: Place white chocolate morsels in a plastic bag and microwave on 70% power for 30 seconds.
- Microwave an additional 10-20 seconds until smooth.
- Snip corner off bag.
- Drizzle white chocolate over bars.
- Allow to set and cut into 2 inch squares.
