Maple French Rocks

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 C. Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the maple syrup and milk, and mix together.
  2. Cut the baguette up into 1.5 cm cubes, and add to the bowl.
  3. Mix together with a large spoon to evenly distribute the egg mixture.
  4. Form into rather flat cone shapes that are 6 cm in diameter and about 4 to 5 cm high with a pointed top.
  5. Put the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 190 C.
  8. The sugar is sparkling on top of the mountain!
