TAZO AWAKETM Sweet Pecans

• 2-1/2 cups water
• 1/3 cup sugar, divided
• 4 filterbags TAZO AWAKETM Black Tea
• 2 cups pecan halves
• 1 tsp. lemon zest Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
• 1 tsp. sea salt

1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. Mix water and 1 Tbsp.
3. sugar in medium saucepan.
4. Add filterbags.
5. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
6. Add nuts; cook 3 min.
7. Pour into strainer; place nuts in medium bowl.
8. Discard liquid and filterbags.
9. Add remaining sugar and zest to nuts; toss to coat.
10. Spread onto bottom of parchment- or foil-lined 15x10x1-inch pan.
11. Bake 18 min., stirring after 10 min.
12. Add salt; mix lightly.
13. Cool completely.
