Ann's Seafood Chowder Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1/2 x Onion,large,diced
- 1 x Celery rib, diced
- 1 lb Sealegs, minced
- 1 c. Potatoes, cooked,diced
- 1 x Tomato, large, diced
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 3 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 c. Water Salt & pepper to taste
- Heat butter in heavy saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Add in onions and saute/fry till clear, add in celery and cook gently for about 5 mins.
- Add in flour, lowfat milk and water, stirring well to avoid lumps.
- Add in remaining ingredients and season to taste.
- Heat till heated through, but don't boil.
- Serve with baking pwdr biscuits.
- Sealegs are a blend of pollock and crab meat.
