Snickerdoodles

  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees.
  2. Blend and cream well the shortening, sugar, eggs, and flavorings.
  3. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt.
  4. Mix both together.
  5. Roll into balls and toll each in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. BAke for 5 to 8 minutes.
