Meat-free Tofu Hamburgers
- 300 grams Tofu
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 Egg
- 200 ml Panko
- 1/2 tbsp Miso
- 1/2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Hijiki
- 4 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire-style Sauce
- 3 tbsp Sake
- 2 tsp Mirin
- Wrap the tofu with paper towels and microwave to remove excess moisture.
- Chop the onion finely, heat oil in a skillet and saute the onion.
- Once the tofu and onion have cooled, mix all the ingredients together.
- Shape the mixture into round shapes, heat some oil in a skillet and pan-fry.
- For the sauce.
- Add all the ingredients to the skillet and simmer.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu hamburgers and enjoy.
