Macaroni And Beef Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small green pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) shell macaroni
- 1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Italian tomato soup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- In a 10-inch skillet, cook ground beef, green pepper, onion and seasonings until meat is browned (10 minutes).
- Cook macaroni as directed on package.
- Mix cooked macaroni, tomatoes with their liquid, meat and remaining ingredients, breaking up tomatoes.
- Put in a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbly.
- Yields 6 servings.
