- 2 dashes White Wine (optional)

- Trim, peel, and roughly chop up about 3 cloves of garlic.
- Trim, peel, and roughly chop up an onion.
- Cut the broccoli florets from the base of their stalk.
- If the florets are thick, slice them in half.
- Heat up a couple splashes of cooking oil in a wok or deep frying pan over medium high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and onions.
- After less than a minute the garlic and onions should start to turn a slight brown (make sure they dont burn).
- Add the broccoli and a couple splashes of light soy sauce.
- Cook for about two minutes.
- Constantly stir to ensure even cooking and to prevent burning.
- I like to add a tiny bit of palm sugar (a healthy low GI sugar) but this is optional.
- Also add a splash of white wine to give it moisture again this is optional.
- Add your cup of almonds and a small splash of dark soy sauce.
- Add a couple twists of freshly crushed black peppercorn.
- Give it all a good stir.
- Have a quick taste to see if it needs a little more light soy sauce or not.
- Your superfood stir-fry is now ready to be enjoyed.
