Fresh Strawberry Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 375F and prepare 9x13 pan
  2. In a medium bowl: mix flour, salt, baking powder; set aside
  3. In a mixing bowl: cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time (beat well after each).
  5. Add vanilla and blend well.
  6. Slowly beat in about 1/3 of flour mixture into creamed mixture with half of the strawberries
  7. Beat in another 1/3 of flour mixture and rest of strawberries
  8. Blend in remaining flour mixture and beat until smooth
  9. Bake 25-30 minutes.
  10. Cake will sprink back when lightly touched.
  11. Cool on rack.
  12. Beat cream cheese and butter.
  13. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  14. Beat together until smooth
  15. Frost and enjoy!
