Middle Child Pizza

  1. Preheat your oven to 500F.
  2. Generously coat a half-sheet pan with olive oil.
  3. If you think its too much, youll probably need more.
  4. Youre trying to prevent the pizza from sticking.
  5. Stretch your dough to fit the pan.
  6. Pretty much any dough recipe will work here.
  7. I am particularly fond of Jim Laheys pizza recipe.
  8. It is easy (no kneading) and delicious.
  9. Smear the pesto all over the dough with your fingers.
  10. Sprinkle the artichokes over the top.
  11. They are so yummy and I heart artichokes 4 ever!
  12. Tomatoes are next, followed by the black olives, then the feta.
  13. Sprinkle the parmesan, the garlic salt, and the oregano all over the top.
  14. Isnt it pretty?
  15. Bake for 1/2 hour.
  16. ( If your oven is small, you might consider covering the pizza with aluminum foil for the first fifteen minutes).
  17. Take your masterpiece out of the oven and drizzle a little olive oil over the top.
  18. Transfer to a cutting board and serve with freshly grated parmesan and red pepper flakes.
  19. I love this cold for breakfast!
