Yin yang rice

  1. Boil pigeon pea in 3cups of water with tomato, turmeric, salt and sugar until it gets fully dissolved in it and comes to a soup like consistency
  2. For rice- Heat a teaspoon of oil and add cumin seeds to it and then add rice and 2 cups of water and cook the rice
  3. For tempering of pigeon pea- heat a spoonfull of oil and add cumin seeds and green chillies and add the tempering to the cooked lentil
  4. Serve pigeon pea and rice in a yin yang shape
