Ww Cream of Wild Rice Soup

  1. In a large saucepan, saute the onion, carrot and celery in butter until tender.
  2. Stir in flour slowly and blend.
  3. Gradually add broth.
  4. Next, stir in chicken, rice, salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil over med.
  6. heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  7. Lastly, blend in milk and cook for 3 to 5 minutes longer.
  8. Garnish with fresh diced chives.
