Garlicky Dinner Rolls
- 12 rhodes white frozen texas rolls
- 12 cup corn oil or 12 cup canola oil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- thaw and raise rolls according to package directions on a baking sheet with parchment.
- This takes 3-4 hours at room temperature.
- Combine oils into a small saucepan over low heat until very warm.
- Remove from heat, add garlic and let stand at room temperature.
- Combine oregano and salt in a small bowl.
- Preheat oven 350.
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- remove from oven and immediately roll into the garlicky oil, making sure to get lots of garlic pieces on the rolls.
- Sprinkle generously with salt mixture.
- Place in a bread basket and keep warm till serving.
