Beef Or Elk Stroganoff Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound round steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 can beef bouillon
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 c. cooked noodles
- Cut round steak into thin strips.
- Dust with flour.
- In large skillet, brown meat in fat.
- Add in mushrooms, onion and garlic.
- Brown lightly.
- Stir in beef bouillon.
- Cover; cook 1 hour or possibly till meat is tender; stir now and then.
- Gradually stir in lowfat sour cream; cook over low heat 5 min.
- Serve over cooked noodles.
- 4 servings.
