Ginger-Peach Beer Cooler

  1. Combine the beer, peach nectar, peaches and syrup in a large pitcher; stir to blend.
  2. Serve immediately.
  3. Place 1/2 cup water, the sugar and ginger in a small saucepan.
  4. Bring the syrup to a boil over high heat.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  6. Let the syrup cool completely, about 20 minutes.
  7. Strain before using.
