Herb Buttered Peas And Potatoes Recipe
- 1 pound new (sm. red) potatoes (unpeeled)
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon each marjoram leaves, thyme leaves and pepper
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas
- In 3 qt saucepan, cook potatoes in 4 c. boiling water with 1/2 tsp.
- salt for 15 to 18 min or possibly till almost tender.
- Drain; cut potatoes in half; add in butter, 3/4 tsp.
- salt and seasonings.
- Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 - 10 min.
- Stir in peas; heat 3 to 5 min more.
